WHOA, first I thought it was where a paved raod met dirt, but that cricket looks mightfully humanesque. |

While lots of empty space conveys solitude well, I feel like the subject could have been a little closer for better effect. Otherwise, I really like the locale you've chosen. |

Great image. Love the use of space and perspective. Nice dark mood to it, helps give the feeling of being lost in a vast unknown. Subject itself gets a bit lost in the background though, wish there was a way to make him/her a little more visible without losing the nice darkness. Focus is fantastic. Well done. 7 |

That's my question too, hard to find the subject. |

nice. i like how the guy kinda blends into the image. for some reason it makes me think of a troll or elf with that pointy looking hat. hehe. anyway, love the massive/diminutive constrast. also the diagonal works very well. only thing i'd suggest is adding some contrast to bring out deeper blacks. |

Quite powerful. But slightly underexposed for my taste. And claustrophobic. But gives a good sense of solitude and appears to be perfectly in topic. Good luck. |

Subject not distinct enough from the background. Maybe placing the subject on a third would help focus the attention on them? |

Overall I really like this image - with the exception of the actual subject. The dark clothing and lack of focus really don't draw your eye to the subject. Excellent idea, the actual capture just needs to be tweaked a bit. |
