might not be possible to show more brownstone, maybe there are trees all over, this tree is too dominating even if there are few leaves left |

I love these brownstones and walk about the area taking in its beauty. Bump. |

I think this would be good in black and white. In color it just doesn't do much for me. |

That tree is breaking up most of the shot without adding anything good. I dunno, somehow I don't feel New Yorkish with this one, could be anywhere. |

This really doesn't show what New York is all about, and the picture itself isn't sharp. Also, the plain white text blends in with the building too much. |

The words blend into the photograph a bit too much. Perhaps a slight drop shadow would make them stand out more. |

a little muted in the color. More contrast and saturation would have made this image pop. |

For me, this is a little dull in color and contrast. The angle is nice, though. |

There is a lot of potential in this shot, but as it is, it doesn't work for me. The shape isn't right for a post card -- I'd crop the right side to remove that half window at the bottom and bring the gray building more to the center. The tree, the window boxes, and the lamps in the window of the gray building are very nice and could be featured more. The colors are too subdued, and the text is overpowering, but those are easy fix. Also, I'd clone out the cars at the bottom. |

The text is distracting to the image and the tree in front seems a little out of focus for a postcard |

I might have added a drop shadow or a stroke around the lettering; it gets lost in the image here. |

I'm sorry, but if you're in NY, you could have picked SUCH better subject matter than this |

Text is very hard to read. Should have put either an outline or dropshadow to bring it out of the background. I like the photo tho. Looks just like Dr. Huxtables house! |
