Shot from the patio at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Jersey City, NJ, at about 10:30pm. While we were shooting, I mentioned to my brother-in-law how surprised I was that we could see stars aver the New York City skyline. Imagine my joy when they were in my photos as well.
My wife & kids like the color version of this better, but to me it's just a boring old color skyline, probaly good for maybe a 5.5 in a Free Study. Will this do better than that? I hope so, but if it doesn't, at least I submitted something that I really like.

is that Orion in the sky? Top right...i think so!
Good shot. It would be nice to have more detail, but I really like the reflection of the lights in the water. |

Never seen a nightshot like this in BW before.
