 Could not find anything BIG from 1985...was gona go for the flashdance, footloose thing but that was in 1983 and 1984, so i looked up Top Gun that was 1986... so i just made my own thing...

Wonderful expression, fun clothing and make-up. The pose works for you. Some things going against you include: lighting - too close to the background, producing heavy shadows & too close to the subject with the flash producing blown highlights and little detail. The processing looks like you've added a diffused glow (which would be illegal in basic) or a large radius USM - which comes across to me as over done, even for the era. 5

Nice photo, just a shame that some parts of the photo is out of focus which definitely is distracting

This certainly looks 80s to me. Great job on the clothing and make-up. The shadows on the right ( behind the arm ) and the overexposed t-shirt are a bit distracting though.
