Cute kids and interesting subject; might've cropped it a bit tighter to get rid of the red stop sign and its reflection.

Good idea, composition, interesting expressions. Seems like a touch of back focus, but I like it a lot.

I love the theme and the bright colors are beautiful, the lighting must have been wonderful on this fine fall day. PS- My son loved reading the Jack and Annie "Magic Tree House" series.

interesting photo. I wonder what people will think of this one. I think it is great. The small oppressed black girl looking up to the white girl is very appropriate for the time. The little black girl has a wonderful look of confidence and identiy. I think I am trying to say that the photo may represnt the feelings of the country at the time very well. Both sides - White superiority and Black defiance and integrity. I don't want to say that whites were all like that but the idea comes across. Great photo the more I think on it. 8

One of my favorites. The more I look, the more the emotive captures me. The details really make this photo- the rainbow sleeve on jacket, the hairdos, the expressions. 10.

I really like this image and what it communicates. The expressions are stark but work very well. I'm still deciding what it would have been like in b&w; but the color actually gives it a unique cinematic/narritive feel which I like. Well done! 8o)

Very well done. The exchange between the girls is great. Your details keep this from being even higher. The clothes and hair ties bring this to recent times and the colors seem to bright for the photos of that era as prints tended to fade over time. Even the gaze (which I love) brings it forward in time. As the ruling went into place, the understanding wasn't there very much and the eyes were lacking contact at that time. Even so, 8
