I remember this one. It is a nicely posed and processed image. It does the story a credit. |

After it was too late, I knew DOF & deliberate exposure boosting was gonna hurt me on this one. Didn't realize this movie was that obscure, though...

Dof may be a bit shallow. Though the color certainly does support your event, I am not sure about the cracker. I will have to refresh my memory on this excellent work from 1973. Something about pesticides wasn't it? |

Nice idea. Would be better with green cracker against a plain/white background, maybe with a (nibbling or dead) mouse, and more sharpness/DOF for more detail on the cracker. |

the greenish yellow is a cool touch. the subject is a little bright, though. |

Oh man, that was a big deal that year -- with long lasting impressions. I think I would like this better with a little longer DOF. |

This shot intrigued me. I remember the term, but can't remember what it means. The image casts a spell wanting me to capture the focus behind it and in it. I love the color, DOF and the compositions. Still, the questions I have keep me at a 6. |

The harsh lighting doesn't really work for me here. |

Great movie & excellent concept. Limited DOF helps the image. |

I have no idea what that is LOL. I love the thin DOF and can't wait to see what lense was used. I think the big blob of light above the cracker is too bright. I love the vignetting. (is that the correct term for the dark corners?) |
