First attempt??? Seriously??? Ummmmm. . .yeah. .this is fabulous! I love how your expert vignaetting lights your subject so dramatically. Courst I see this was posted a year ago, and now you are winning blue ribbons and scoring in the 7's, so you are probably turning out gallery pieces like this every day now :)
Keep 'em coming. This is AWESOME!

Fully agree with Larus. More contrast perhaps and teh vignetting will greatly enhance the focus in particular (and the photo in general). But this is good. I wish I could take a photo like this when I just got started.:)

Nice shot! Since you specifically asked what I personally would do with it, I would drag down the coloring in this one and really boost up the contrast with curves or whatever you feel comfortable with and I think a slight vignetting would frame it more, the composition is good but kindof leads my eye upward to the roof, my eye doesn´t stay on the cowboy.
Nice shot though like I said, I would give it a 6 in a challenge and I am demanding. |
