Nice macro....but...does it meet the challenge?

Nice close up, great lighting. I like the arangement of these "capacitors", but I'm not sure what they are. I know they are related to computers in some way, but I would personally have no way of telling if they are new or not, so I'm going on your word here. Definately original and I like the contrast between the subjects and the background. Nice photo. Good luck with the challenge.

I like this image. It reflects creative, original thinking and thanks for not showing another cliche picture at this challenge. Good colors, nice composition. Am I mistaken or is the image indeed a bit soft in places?

Colorful, nice background, symetrical, yet not boringly so. Good idea.

Don't see how this relates to the challenge... Capacitors have been around for a while, i believe. sjgleah

I think these are the dipped ceramic bliss variety, colorful yet very hardy and suitable for year-round planting. I like the arrangement. It doesn't excite me, but it is very well done in terms of balance, composition, color, exposure, and focus.

Very imaginative. Nothing beats fresh capacitors... Focus looks good. Lighting looks good. Subject matter is unique and appropriate, presented well. 7

Good backround color, really makes them stand out. :)

Interesting subject. The colors and placement are great!

Subtle, amusing ΓΆ€“ and they do have a surreal plant like quality. It's technically fine and the colours are good. Nice shot, if you're into growing your own :-)

Pretty, but why is this something new?
08/13/2002 12:18:00 AM
Cool concept!

pandering to the geek vote. Interesting image, not sure I get 'new' from it though.

This is a nicely executed macro... The subject choice simply doesn't grab my attention in the challenge topic... - jmsetzler
