 Well this is one of 2 shots I took that I actually like. The first I like better, but doesn't convey the feeling that well.

Shot on the floor using a shoe as a tripod. In PS is adjusted levels to bump contrast and hue ever so slightly to reduce blues to greens and give it a stark feel. Desaturated about 5% to further enhance the cold lonley feeling.

This style I adore. A lot of film is shot this way at the mo, and a lot of my personal images are going that way too.

Only light is what is comming through the door. Natural.

Interesting photo. The perspective is good, as is the lighting. Pose of the subject really hints at an inner pain. Can easily infer loneliness from his posture - I like the addition of the phone, adds a bit of depth to the image, as if he learned something horrible from a call or is waiting on someone to call who never will. Gets the imagination going. Great image. 7

really nice photo!, I espescially like the lighting, how you can just barely see the top of the stairs. The angle of the photo adds alot to the guy, and its an interesting message, because the guy looks like your typical outgoing, happy college student type, I like the cord of the phone in the edge of the photo, but wish it didnt go out of the photo and back in again, did you crop it this way? I like this alot, 9.

I Love the darkness at the top of the stairs. Definately adds to the drama!

Good composition, but that phone cord weaving in and out of the frame is distracting.

Nice shot...personally I think the presence of the phone takes away from the image...I feel it would be better without it. Love the lighting. 8
