If I'm not mistaken, your hawk is a Coopers Hawk. |

Still looks like an adult Cooper's to me, lighter colored nape, long tail, but may be a sharp-shinned female. |

Good capture! unfortunately the "twig" or whatever is crossing your hawk is very distracting. |

Sharp shot, too bad the twig is in the middle of it. Sometimes that kind of intrusion can't be helped. I get that too, in nature pics that I shoot for myself. |

thats a red tail. if you clone out that grass after the challenge you will have a real nice shot |

A couple of nice diagonals and nice colors. The leaves, wood, and bird all complement each other. Too bad about the straw in the foreground. (If you really want help identifying the bird, try WhatBird.com.) |

Looks like a Cooper's Hawk but I could be wrong. Shame about that blade of grass across him. |
