Very nice, I like the way you can see the other pieces through the top of the pawn |

A nice image, I like the distinction not only in size, but generally in shape and color - frosted vs. not. I think that would hold true better if the very right piece wasn't a pawn. So that this forward one would be completely different in every way. I like the reflection of the other pieces in the clear pawn - its almost as if it is seeing the others grouped and realizing its alone. I wish there was a way to lighten the whole image up though. The low lighting gives a nice effect for the frosted pieces but I'd like the overall darkness to lighten up just a bit. Nice image. 6 |

I like this shot., especially wtih the clear chess pieces. The refelction in the pawn is fabulous! I wonder if you would have conveyed more meaning if you had not included any pawns in the background. ???

Nice idea! Neat picture, well focused on the subject. Top 10 I would say right now. 10 from me and I can't wait to see how it did! |

Love the effect of seeing the other pieces upside down...twice. |

not sure what this has to do with 'alone' but it's a very effective shot |

I like the reflection on the pawn's head, other pieces upside down. Brilliant subject, and technics, grats! It's worth 10 points. |

Good reflecion through the piece and attractive depth of field. Really dislike the yellowish tinge due to the white balance though. Something cooler would probably be more effective ? |

I wish the ones in the background were in focus, but I really like some things about this one: it's neat how you can see the other pieces through (or reflected on) the one in front. |

Beautifully done. I didn't end up entering this challenge, but I was going to do this idea had I done so. I am really glad I didn't in the end as I could not have come close to this one. Great work. |
