Eh, could have been funny, the dof is good but the strings are distracting and take away from this picture |

This is cute. The photo is well exposed and the clarity/focus is good. A little overzealous with the noise reduction (plastic looking skin). Did you forget this was a basic challenge and couldn't reshoot without the strings holding the arrow in place? Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Good idea. Too bad the strings are showing. |

Looks like Neat Image or Noise Ninja was a tad too strong resulting in plastic skin |

Great expression--looks like you already shot it! Little more DOF might have helped |

If the strings holding the arrow were not visible I would have voted 10. 9 for the strings, but great photo. |

The strings holding up the arrow really hurt this. I love the expression. |

I think the string/nylon around the arrow spoils it. Lovely face.6 |

Ha ha, great shot.... but you can see the string still tied to the arrow? |

The string is a little distracting, perhaps some modeling clay or putty could be used to hold the apple. Great overall impact. |

I absolutely love the soft focus and expression on kid's face. The dart is distracting, especially with the fishing line. |

Great expression! Too bad about the wires on the arrow, but with basic editing what can you do? Well done--7 |

This is GREAT ! I love the expression. And the perspective on the arrow. Shame the wires are not invisible. Couple of very minor niggles - the white hairs on the robe are distracting, and the chink of background bottom right keeps pulling my eye away from the scene. |

Some things could have been better... the sting could have been edited out and the hair on the sweater. |

The subject's eyes are striking, but the skin (especially around the mouth and nose) seems devoid of detail and very plastic, which I thought was a shame because it lost a lot of the impact of the photo for me. |

Cute idea and expression... but I probably would have left the arrow out of it completely. For one thing, we can see that the arrow hit the apple successfully, so these wouldn't be "last words." And the string holding up the arrow is very visible :) |

It's too bad we can see the string. Also, with this title I think it would've been better to not have the arrow there at all. The picture is very crisp. Good job! |
