| beautiful b/w. love the tree. another crop option would have been to cut off more of the grass and inclue more sky. |

| You know what? I would get more of a feeling of despair if the tree had no leaves at all on it and the branches were a bit more sparse... |

| Good perspective, the emptiness of the landscape helps pull in that feeling of solitude and despair. Composition is nice, dead or denuded tree adds a bit of vulnerability to the photo. I like the light usage and the b&w. 7 |

| I would have loved to see this photo more as a wide angle. Less grass, (I'd cut right at where there looks like there is a path) more negative space (of the sky on the right) and without such a close crop of the tree on the left. I do like the B&W. I do really thing you would have had more of a wow factor if the dark grass was not competing with the tree. |
