| Congratulations on your placement with this image. I was touched by the skateboard and when I read what you had to say about it I learned why. It is terrible to lose a friend in any way but this must have been a particularly difficult loss and you have expressed it well. I think your friend would have liked the image. |

| Very emotive image. Definite sadness and I can infer a loneliness from missing the friend. Good use of light and black & white. Focus is excellent. A very nice tribute to someone lost. 7 |

| Powerful and intense. I feel the pain. Could have done so many things to capture this that might have brought even more emotion and mood. |

| if this would have been shot with more light during the day and the model in a different pose, then converted to B&W i feel it would have been a stronger image |

| grief is certainly an emotion felt by the individual, alone even if others grieve as well...the skateboard is touching and the lighting interesting 8 |

| I think the toys are a bit too rich elements for this picture, but the idea i svery good. Maybe I feel more mourning than loneliness, but I think this is only because of the subjective style of this challenge. |

| wow..powerful shot..but I almost feel as if it is innapropriate as a challenge entry because it is so emotional and almost too personal if that makes sense....Its almost painful watching the young girl grieve her friend...seems like too private of a moment to be captured and shared with others. |

| More impact would have been felt for me with this shot had the girl been facing the tomb stone and having her back to the lens ! Nice mood it sets however using the moody feel of the B&W tones |
