used a metallic photo frame. light from window (blinds in the reflection). the metal and glass were picking up all kinds of different things, it was a fun experiment.

not bad placing at all considering my past record with free-study. :)
thanks bunches for comments and votes!!!!

Thsi really is striking. I really love it. it is hard to make out exactly what is going on but unlike most photos i see like that i keep looking instead of moving one. great job.

a non-DP friend of mine (who has excellent taste, btw) said this was her favourite image in the whole challenge. what's funny is I knew it'd be her favourite even before she told me which one. well done.

one of the best in the challenge - original, fresh, very artistic - in otherwords everything the masses run away from! :-)

I love watching your style and skill evolve - this is a great step. Love this and I was so happy to see it was you.

Congrats on your development - your hard work is paying off.

Do you show your work outside of this strange little community? With work like the several shots I've seen from you, you're ready to take on the world! WTG!

You got an 8 from me for this. I like the creativity exhibited. Nicely planned and composed.

An excellent experiment! I was one of your 8's. I quite like this and spent a bit of time visiting it during the challenge - fascinating and well done!

A 6.4 and a 10 from posthumous? That must be hard to do. :P

the power of suggestion..an 8 it is...quirky, interesting...lines leading and misleading..
this photo is interesting enough that I can imagine it having been created using a storyboard...
forget it, I am giving it a 9...faving it too

Truly original! The hint works for me - 8 - for now, I'll have to look at this one again and maybe bump up. -- yep, I'm back, that's a 10. I really can't analyze it, this just somehow works.

But I don't want to give you an 8. I want to give you a 9. But the power of suggestion is so strong... On my monitor the hands are slightly blown, or you intended it that way (not something I would mark down for, just an observation). I like the collage feel of this. 9
