 taken after sunset. I had been waiting for a night with interesting clouds for the past week. Finally, on the last night of the challenge period, I got my wish.

PP:

converted RAW in Photoshop, adjusting exposure, shadows, contrast, and saturation. Rotated horizon to level. Added adjustment levels for curves and levels. Noise Ninja. Cropped to size. Cloned the light spot on one rock on the left edge of frame. Burned a little on clouds in upper right corner of frame for added punch.

You sure can take some nice pictures of that lighthouse. Good work again Steve. I really like the use of Blue as the color theme - it really makes you feel the coldness of the weather.

I see some halo-ing along the brush line. The composition is very pleasing. the line of the coast draws the eye back to the lighthouse. the clouds and the white water slightly mimic each other. Overall it is very well thought out photo. just missed it in the post processing dept.

White balance is off (sure you got tons of comments). Biggest thing I have against it though is the structure of the photo. It seems heavly weighted toward the middle vertical. Average rating.

Stunning vista. I can hear the water lapping up on the shore. The blue theme adds a wintery touch to it. This would be great for the HDR treatment!
