The title indicates you want me to look at the bird, the image tells me you want me to look at the sky.

Sky is beautiful, bird is a counterpoint to the sky, well positioned and sharp.

Having the crane more or less centered makes the image rather static and takes away a lot of the feeling of movement. While you may not have been able to compose the shot perfectly at the time, cropping in post could change the position of the bird.
