I love the subtlety of all the shadows here. And, contrary to what most of the commenters are saying... I personally actually think the excess darkness in the foreground adds a perfect touch. It would be boring without it. :D |

For me this was the best in the challenge by far. It is pure harmony |

Tumulus is a word I associate with Britain and I was wondering who this photo might belong to and where it was taken. It's hard to appreciate the delicate subtlety of this lovely image in the context of a challenge. I like the high placement in the frame of the horizon. Glad to see some more of your work too. It is inspiring. Season's Greetings to you. |

I really liked that dreamy bluish area at the back. Feels quite mystical.
The streaks of lights on the grass creating some raking effects really makes a sense of depth and distance. I love it. |

This is cool. I love all the ground and the little bit of horizon. I do wish the crop inluded the tops of the trees. Lovely colors and I love the mist. |

lovely feeling here, but I wish there was more detail in the lower third of the screen. Edited to a Landscape it would be perfect. |

unfortunately I find the upper portion more interesting and wished that there was more of it... then the dark forground. |

This is just so beautiful. The square crop suits this scene perfectly and I enjoy the "strata" of subtle color and lighting changes as my eye moves up and down the image...well done. |

This is soooo close to being reat, but just falls short. The lighting needs to be just a little stronger to make the foreground contribute a little more.
Well seen. |
