Life in the pretzel city (Philadelphia).

I thought about cheesesteaks. But these are just too messy and, well, are really just dead greasy meat and gooey cheese.

A very bad imitation of Uta Barth and the cherry.

St. Louis???!!! The City of Brotherly Love is Philadelphia.

I always thought pretzels were a Noo Yawk thing, but if they are big in St Louis too, so much the better! Maybe if the big archway thingy had been in the background, framing the pretzel...

Maybe someone familiar with Philadelphia would understand the pretzel, but not me....THe arm and pretzel are the only things in focus, so, for me it doesn't work.

I simply don't get this photo - I have returned to it several times in the hope that the penny wil drop, but nope. The centre column of the object being held up loks a little like a DNA helix, but I suspect I am clutching at straws.

I am not really getting the significance of the pretzel in the air. Perhaps it would be better to see someone enjoying it.

OK - So thi sone just has me kind of confused. I dont understand the significance of the pretzel - although I do love eating a good pretzel.

I dunno.. It's like something is just not working in this photo for me. Maybe if there was sharpness throughout. Just not sure.
