 I know, I know, I really should have taken this on some location rather than just having a grey backdrop in a studio but I was pressed for time and so were the models, the exam season is upon us here in Iceland so really we only had a couple of hours to do this on a saturday night.

If I would have had unlimited time, I would have gone to a nightclub and done something totally different there but I´ll just have to save that idea for the "Bond, James Bond II" challenge.

"Bond´s" name is Haukur and the girl is Aldís, sure some of you remember her from my Superstition blue ribbon winner and the recent Light on White III entry. When I thought who I might use as Bond he immediately popped into my head and since I am used to working with Aldís, why not take her along and take fun couples photos of them since they are a couple.

Lit with 4 lights, one for backround, one for hairlight and two softboxes with different strengths from the front.

Post processing was cropping (oringinal shot was full body), vignetting added, b/w conversion with channel mixer and curves and the usual stuff, raw conversion of course.

REALLY did not expect this to ribbon, not that I don´t like the shot, just didn´t think it had the mass appeal to win a challenge here so no complaints here :)

That scratches off the last thing on my "to do list" for 2006, in the nick of time too as we only have like three weeks left of the year, hehe

Ya know, if I had your models and your studio and your camera and your lenses and if I lived in Iceland and had your help setting up the shots, I could easily win as many ribbons as you my friend. :P

Very nice work as always Larus, the lighting is spectacular. The models did good, and nothing wrong with the back drop. Maybe a city in the distance would have added a little excitement, but non the less the best shot of this challenge. Congrats again.

Well done here. Maybe the order would in fact have been reversed if I had lights instead of a 20W torchlight. But as it is, yours is right where it belongs. Congrats.

classic. However the gun on the leg is overdoing it i think. the whole set up on the leg doesn't belong there. It really looks out of place and is distracting.

This is amazing.
The only thing that can be inproved on is the backround. It apears that it was a solid color when you took the shot and you burned it in post. Less of the burning wouldve inproved it and maybe a more round vignette too.

wow..nice image, had to look twice to decipher her left arm from an extension of his jacket, and the lacy white garter somehow seems not to fit with rest of image. This might just ribbon..gl 8
