| The competition is so high in this challenge that I feel this one didn't make it out of that medium. Dont get me wrong though the photo is a delight, and there isn't know technical disadvantage on your part. It just doesn't have flare. I hope this isn't too critical, because the pup is beautiful. Its just in this challenge you have Christmas costumes, props, expensive studio lights, and advanced editing. All of it accumulates to leaving this in the middle somewhere. |

| Wow! This is the kind of portrait I wanted to do and I can see where I went wrong. Beautiful, noble dog. Lighting, focus and pose all perfect to me. Good luck. I hope to see Boris at the top! |

| Ah, a much better shot of Boris than the Soft Focus II Challenge. Great expression with soulful eyes but the mouth is a little lost in the shadow. |

| 5 - Quite a good 'studio portrait' of Boris, however in my opinion the background is a little 'bland' and the pose perhaps a little.. 'uninteresting'. The darker areas seem to need attention too. |
