Howdy neighbour! :) Congrats on the top 20 too!
Really liked this and gave you an 8. I think the understated colour was actually a big factor in why I voted highly in the first place and would disagree with the "more saturation" movement. But, different strokes for different folks though, eh? :) Cheers! |

Good finish Enzo. I've read and re-read my comment below and i'm still not sure it makes sense ;). |

bump up the red a bit in RGB. Or raise the contrast. The tomatos have to light up more. |

A very good study with razor sharp detail to make those tomatoes speak! Congratulations on your 13th place. |

Nice arrangement/composition. I think that a touch more saturation would help both the tomatoes and the stems. |

Great concept, maybe rotate 45-degrees CCW and add a mound of dirt on the wrist. |

Simple and dirty - I like it. The water on the tomatoes works well with the wet/dirty hands. |

NIce composition and arrangment. I'm giving you a 9 with this proviso. I have never thought of picking tomatoes as a muddy job and they don't normally have such nice droplets of water. From a strict realism standpoint, it seems off to me. Giving the benefit of the doubt, it could just be a proud husbandman showing off the fruits of his labor so... 9 works for me.
The photo is very well put toghether and from a technical standpoint it really leaves nothing behind. YOu should do well in the challenge and this is a very pleasant picture. |

Nicely processed. the right hand on the palm either has some motion blur or is out of the DOF. That gets my eye just a bit. Otherwise, nice composition with the three tomatoes. 7 |

Nice tomato crop! My current work is assembling and wiring up a machine to wash, wax, and sort tomatoes at the rate of about 900 25lb boxes per hour. Most people don't know that you mostly get green stained hands from picking tomatoes, but this is a photo contest. Good concept, and excecuted well in the tech dept. I take away one little click for the back light showing behind the lower tomato, right side, and above the top tomato. If you could get that little border around the outside of the hands, like where the leaf on the right goes over the finger, it would really stand the whole subject out from the background. |

Doesn't make sense that the tomatos look like they have just been washed but they are held with dirty hands. |
