Ohmy. . .certainly surprised to come upon this one on the 3rd page. It looks out of place like it surely belongs on the first page!
Awesome!

I finished it yesterday as clean-up went in phases, so lets call it 6 days. :) I love this shot and the kids are thrilled with it! |

Very cool - love the eyes and the 40 pounds of mud in the hair!! Back to bump you to 9. |

Bonus simply for the sheer amount of mud used! |

Reminds me of a movie with three old witches that share one eye. Nice effect having only the middle girl looking at the camera. Kudos.

There is too much dirt to make this look real, the photo is too dark, and it is a pitty the two girls have they eyes closed. |

B&W works great for this. I really like the model in the center with eyes open and the other two with them closed. I'm not sure about the title, but overall this is one of the best I've seen yet. |

Their shirts are a bit too clean for the amount of mud on the faces. If your face gets this muddy, generally the clothes are even worse. Nice thought with the title. Lighting and tech is good. |

They don't look like real refugees. Maybe the one in the middle "sees no evil"..., etc., as an alternative. |

Nice concept! I would like to see one where all their eyes are open. |

Wow factor alert! Love the effort you put into this. Great lighting and PP. Nice how the girl in the middle seems to support the other two, showing great strength. Timeless and a real work of art. |

I'm really glad they are not going to enter my bathtub after the shoot :)
A bit overdone on the mud IMO and the lighting is a little harsh - but still a nice entry. |

I'm not sure how well a studio and mud-faced children works - I like that one madel faces the camera, as if asking for help while the others are just too weak and disheartened. |

Wonderfully done. I love the crop here, and I love the feeling of togetherness...like they are all depending on one another for support. Great job. |

The closed eyes throw me a bit. I like the composition though, especially the "lean in" of the model on the left. It looks a bit too "made up", but it isn't bad. 7 |
