 This is one of my two persian cats, Precious. She acts as if she's a princess; she's very snobby, but usually takes good pictures. I chose this specific shot because of the lighting. I love the way her fur fades into the light.

Natural afternoon light. I did a few minor changes, but for the most part there is very little post processing:

haha I found you! Ms. Prissy. I don't really like the blown out side on the right and the eye could be a little brighter. But still pretty good.

5 - Looks like good potential. Don't mind the 'high key' effect, but wonder about a variation in composition, placing that blown area within the frame more selectively, as well as sharper especially on the eye, and including more of the other eye (looks like He(i)r Majesty is one eyed), make this better in my opinion.

Is her right eye missing, or is it just a strange angle? Almost too bright on the right edge, but I love the overall effect. 8
