5 - Nice pose/capture, but the background back left detracts from the dog and the effect with the snow hasn't been 'used' as well as a variation may have, in my opinion. Also seems to be a bit blurry.

Cute expression, but I find the object in the upper left of the frame to be distracting.

To me, a portrait includes controlling the lighting and setting. This does not mean outdoor shots cannot be portraits, but that you must wait for the right light or set up some lighting, and make sure the background enhances the subject. I do not feel this was accomplished in this shot.

This seems uniformly gray, as if you've removed contrast. The crop is weird, too - the left forepaw is cut off and I can't tell if he's sitting or not.

seems more like a snapshot ... wish you'd gotten down to eye level with your cute dog ...

Awww.....makes me wanna bring this one in out of the cold. Maybe, the title should have been....."Bring Me Out Of The Cold"??? I'd have cropped out the fencing a bit more in the background there to bring more focus to the snow, cold and expression of being sad to this beauty. I tried covering the shot with a piece of paper and it definitely would have brought out more attention had the fence been cropped out. But, love the shot!
