Alas, I was about 30 seconds too late to enter the sticky challenge!
I suddenly realized at 11:37pm that the Sticky challenge was ending in 23 minutes & I hadn't shot - or even conceived of - an idea yet.
So I came up with an idea, I grabbed my camera, rattled off some shots, realized I needed more light, set up a 250 watt work light with diffusion screen, rattled of several photos, reviewed, rattled off more, reviewed, got mad at my crappy tripod (need to adapt my $700 video tripod to do portrait orientation!), rattled off more, still wasn't happy (I learned it sure is hard to get your focus right when you're doing a self-portrait!) but was running out of time, dumped the shots into the computer, did some quick editing, opened up the challenge entry page, chose the file, hit submit.... But when I looked at my clock it was already on 12:00 & the DPC "Please Stand By" came up...
::sigh::
I really want to try another one - I wasn't still enough as you can see from the motion blur & no amount of sharpening could clean that up - but I'll have to wait for Sticky II...
Oh well, I got closer this time than my Famous Last Words idea - that bit of brilliance came to me 2 hours AFTER the challenge ended!
