Ooooh! I like. Excellent composition overall, and in particular, use of DOF.
Only detracting comment is the slightly-empty upper left corner, which affects the consistency of the field. |

| Are these pop bottles? I've never seen them before. They are pretty. I like the shade of red. the shot is nice. I like how you have the first one in focus and the rest in the background. Since I have never seen these before, I can only take your word for it that they are something new. These would have looked good in the "red" challenge too. Nice shot and good luck in the challenge. |

| This is one of those shots I'm a sucker forâ€Â¦ I love the clever use of DOF to capture a really good shot, and this picture does just that. The sharp foreground provides a great central focal point that contrasts against the out of focus backgroundâ€Â¦ Greatâ€Â¦ |

| This is a beautiful composition... the depth of field works perfectly in this shot. The half visible label on the bottle offers a nice bit of intrigue that is making me wonder what the rest of it says... great shot :) = 9 - jmsetzler |

You must have been going for a narrow depth of field, after all, we can see the first one really good. Even though you would have gotten "beat up" for it, I think having the 2nd or 3rd bottle being the ONE in focus might have been more dramatic, but probably not worth the risk. If I am all wrong about this DOF issue, subtract 2 points from your new score. Started as a 7, upping to an 8 after better evaluation, should drop to 6, if DOF guess wrong. 8 Swash

I like the idea. Color is good. I might have had just enough of the front label readable so that the viewer would know it was the latest vintage without the title.

I love this. If I were being picky I'd suggest that the furthest bottle seems to be positioned a little too low and leads to that patch of blue/ grey at the top left... nicer if it was all red glass throughout.
But I do think this is very classy (and is the FIRST photo out of the WHOLE lot that I am scoring and commenting). I do like this very much.
