Congratulations on 4th place. Terrific shot and hoping Shamer is not correct - hopefully you actually are a chef and this is not just a DNMC hoax to get a good placement. Either way it's a nice shot. |

Congrats, but WTH? You're not a chef... |

A well executed portrait - lighting, framing, etc all done well.
I'd have scored it more highly if there was a bit of actual cheffing going on, though. |

Chefs appear to have a great deal in common with Orchestra Conductors since both direct the use of myriad heterogeneous elements to "make beautiful music together." :) |

Should be in top 10. Nice lighting, background bit distracting. |

Interesting approach - I prefer something like Bob Carlos Clarke's studies of Marco Pierre White - he gets involved in the mess and apparent chaos of a kitchen, makes the mess of the place more real. A clean chef ... well, it feels posed, too tidy, not real. Technically good stuff though - your handling of white balance and exposure is good. |

This is a really great portrait. I don't think I have anything bad to say about it. However, with my personality, Maybe a nice big butcher knife or some other tool of the trade. yet, it is great just how it is. Very nice work. |

I think this is one of the best in the challenge, not much to say about what is wrong. Nice sparkle in the eyes and combined with the blue background you have a very good photo. 10 |

beautiful capture of the Chef. I dont like the blue curtains behind. A blured cooking activity would have been great. |

Very nice, classic portrait. Great light and choice of color combinations. The wrinkles (in the background) are bugging me, but perhaps that's just me :-) 7 |
