 Located in the Performing Arts Center in Portland, OR. You may recognize it from my Architecture entry. This is how I really wanted to do that shot, but looking between the two you will see the difference of 24mm with a 1.6x sensor and a full frame.

Had to return to shoot again after I found my camera date was set wrong...

Tried tone mapping, but actually found this one worked better with simple shadow/highlights. Then the usual other stuff: contrast, hue/sat, NI, USM.

This is really neat. The lines look drawn, but it is very fun feel too it. Just something isn't fully capturing me.

I love the composition & the tones present in the outer edges, but I wish there wasn't such a disparity in exposures. The center would be so much nicer stopped down much further - this would be a great candidate for HDR! The colors present in the middle circle just don't jive well with the rest of the image - in fact it looks like tons of CA to me.

The unusual border is...well, unusual. Not sure if I like it or not, I think it might detract overall. This is a bold image though... << 7 >>
