 Just a rusty K...not sure how the voters will view this, whether they see the K as a pattern or not. I like the texture and the colours

Saturation, levels, curves, USM etc...that's all

Nothing more than that.

POST: 5.7 was a little disappointing I guess, but you either saw a pattern or not. I actually liked the light line on the lhs, it added to the image for me. I still like this shot, so I am not too bothered...my average score didn't like it though!!!

Wow...you can even make rust look awesome! The turquoise with the red...you have a gifted eye for color.

OOOOOOOH. . . .love the grungy texture in this! And the colors make rugged and grungy look so pretty! I hate it when that happens: you submit a photo that you really like and know is great, and the voters snub their nose at it with mediocre votes. You can be thankful tho that it doesn't happen to you as often as to me :)

Just my kind of shot, and I love it so much, re the textures, the "k" letter, and the patterns, are to die for, as I love all similar type of images like this.
I am always on the look out for these type of shots when out looking for images to take shots of, so adding this one to my fav's.....

I didn't vote in this challenge, so this is the first time I've seen the picture, but I wonder how it would be to flip it 90 degrees so it's a "V" instead of a "K". I do like the colors and textures.

Maybe the voters failed to identify with the theme but it surely doesn't take off anything from the composition. i still feel it is one of the best entries in the challenge.

Wow- thats all i can say and comment on this. Amazing clarity and great capture. Just love this. Deserves a 10 but then this little band on the left .. how i wish it was of the same color as the backgroud on the right

I like the colors in your image. My eyes however keep getting drawn to the left hand side of your photo - where the vertical "white line" is. For me, this detracts overall.

K for Kavey! I love the wonderful colours and textures of rusting surfaces and this example is just wonderful. Great choice of detail to create strong composition and interest too.
