Was there a point to the use of the processing ? Does it enhance the message you are trying to get across ? Just seems to make it harder to work out that this is a shot of a messy room |

This is brilllliant!
sort of like the view if you are Schwartzenegger's Preditor, looking for someone to punish. My mother has a four letter word for this; KIDS! |

Well I have sort of mixed feelings about this image. On one hand, I like the "drawing like" look of the image, like it was drawn with a pencil. On the other hand, it´s WAY too busy for my taste and my eyes have a hard time staying anywhere for more than a second. I like the style but think it would be better suited to something simpler, like a human face or something. I know, not what the challenge is about, I am simply encouraging you to try the same editing again if there is for instance an expert editing portrait challenge. Ended up voting 5. |

Wow. Glad i'm not cleaning that up, although mines not much better come to think of it.
Not a fan of the photoshop filter though. |

Awesome effect! What a typical child's room especially after the holidays! You really captured the after-math of the holidays in this shot! |

Looks like my nephews' room! I like the pencil-like quality - emphasizes the clutter. |

If a child really lived in there, I think CPS would be involved
But, the B&W treatment just doesn't work, sorry |

Not only is it too busy, it's way overprocessed...

I don't care for the processing you chose for this image. I can barely tell what I am looking at. This makes me think more of fire damage than a boy's messy room. (I'm not trying to be mean.) |

I think this would have been a terrific entry before the radical post-processing. IMO it's way overdone. |
