Okey if I give my opninion as well? I do a lot of modellingshoots. Like the pose although it seems a bit stiff. The expression is fine, but personally I would've done something about the darkness underneath her eyes. You say you wanted to play with the lighting and catch some shadows, however I find the shadows in the face minimal. If you put the softbox a little more to the side of the model you would've had more shadows on the left of here face, and then try to catch the light in both eyes. what I love about the picture is the way the spikes run down her back. it almost gives a reptile feel to it! like it very much! One more little detail (yes I pay a lot of attention to details) she presses her arm into her leg wich creates a slight bulge that makes her leg look bigger than it is. Hope you find this comment helpfull :-) |

Nice shot..have you considered using a SNOOT of BARDOORS? ... will
give you much tighter control of your lighting. |

This almost has a Betty Page feel to it. Great lighting and that hint of reflection is great. |

She looks like a great model to work with, but i think this one would work better in B&W.. |

Yeah I would lake to see the light fall off tward the bottom (her legs) and not be most intense on her shin
I also would think about cloning the veins on her feet |

I'm not sure about this one either. I like the pose and definitely the model, but the lighting seems a bit awkward. You seem to have adequate fill, but on the face the shadows don't seem to be filled as much as they are on the body. I'm thinking maybe her hair is blocking the fill? Not sure.
Also, the hot spots on the model's left knee and right shin are a bit distracting. I'm thinking the key light was just a bit hot and thus making the fill look weird as well.

This is great. Background is soo nice. The light feels a touch harsh on the legs and face, but other than that sweet job. |

what about in black and white? I really like it, to bring out the the single source lighting you were playing with. I put the editing steps in the comments. I'll remove it if you want me too, just send me a PM. I like your work with this model, you and your wife :)
And maybe remove that little glareon her leg from the chrome, but that is some serious nitpicking.
