| Very nice. I love the background. It makes your subject stand out nicely. This one is similar to the tomato worm photo in that the newness is symbolized by a stage in growth. The lighting is great. There may be a little too much dead space at the bottom. Maybe crop off the flower in the bottom right that the broken stem is attached to. Other than that, this photo is excelent. Good job and good luck in the challenge. |

| This is a beautiful shot. It's hard to demonstrate the youth or lack there of in a butterfly, but I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt here. You did track this down right after it escaped from it's coccoon, right? The swallowtail is nearly breathtaking. The surrounding flowers are nice. 9 Swash |

| This is without doubt, a superb picture. It has the lot, and it’s not an easy shot. My only gripe has nothing to do with the technical nature – that cannot be faulted – but the challenge link is a bit week. But that seems a bit pedantic considering the quality of the picture. I’m looking at it now, and I can’t score this downâ€Â¦ (10) |

| This is just beautiful! The colors work together perfectly; chartreuse plants in the background, the purple flowers with the black and white butterfly. 9 inching closer to a 10 all the time :-) |
