A wonderful visit of the Bäckaskog castle in the south of Sweden, during the sunset this beautiful december afternoon. Nature in its own beauty, I have only changed levels and curbes.

Greetings from the CC!

This scene is a real beauty. The sunset, the goose (I'm guessing, and the tree line. The exposure is spot on, the color is just right. There is only one issue that caused this photo to not reach its full potential, which has already been commented on. The focus, instead of being on the goose or the tree line is on the tree in the front of the frame. This draws the viewers focus to be drawn to the wrong place. It may have been better to make sure the focus was on the goose, and possibly moved a little to the right to get the tree out of the frame.

Nice job and keep shooting,

Mark

I like the way you've used the vegetation to frame the shot. I probably would have cropped it different, however, and chopped off the top section until just below the blown sun area. The eye tends to go to the brightest area of an image and since that area is pure white with no detail then it is taking away from the rest of the image and also stealing some of the tranquility of it. That way you also adjust the horizon line to not be near the half of the image, and the focus shifts back to the two contrails and the wake of the bird.

Pretty! Like the trails in the sky and the one bird on the water.

Hmmm.... how about you just use the lower half of the picture....just above the horizon. I think the duck or swan or whatever it is, should be the focus of this pic...not the clouds.

Very peaceful and the colors are nicely muted.

a lot going on in this deceptively simple nature scene!!
love the colours, composition, crop ..
the bird makes it intersting and the trail left by the planes makes it more so ... =8

Implicit numbers in your photo provide interest - 2 trails + 1 waterfowl. 3 is a nice uneven number. I like the silhouettes and colours too. 8.
