| This is very beautiful. I can't tell by the photo, and I have never seen it before, so I'm going on your word that it's a new statue. Very nice detail and the light is ok. Wish it were a tad bit brighter, but who knows, then it might be too shiny. I like the angle this was taken at. Gives the detail of both the woman and the eagle. Great shot. Good luck with the challenge. |

| I wish there was a way to get this shot without the buildings in the background. The only thing I can come up with for correlating this to the challenge topic if that you are trying to portray the country's "new" sence of patriotism.....Am I close? |

Neat sculpture.
The background takes away from this, as well as the people on the bottom.
Of course, even at a different angle we would still be left with a photograph of someone else's artwork. |

| This is a beautiful shot, but what about it specifically says 'new'? Isn't the idea of the challenge to use our photography TECHNIQUE to emphasize "newness". Still, all in all, an excellent photo. What a sculpture! |
