9 - Wow. Even with the blown sky dominating a fraction too much overall, in my opinion, this is a very nice image. Took me a split second more than I anticipated to find the 'WATCHER', but he/she is a very good element and well placed in the image. Wish the WATCHER had a little more 'pop', but obviously difficult with these tones/ranges. Really like the overall feel of this image and the composition. The toning works very well also. Maybe the top cropped a fraction tighter, not sure. Sure this would make a very nice print. Again - just wish the WATCHER 'popped'. Up to 9 from 8 and taking liberty of adding to Favorites. |

Composition doesn't really bring out any subject strongly enough. Blown highlights in the trees are also distracting. |

I really do like this composition, and the black & white feeling here..... Almost looks like an etching..... |

nicely observed, but probably a bit too subtle for this challenge. love the treatment--takes me right back to my grandmother's home. |

the porch becomes a doorway of sorts. I love how you've reimagined this house. 8 |

Ah! Ever the cautious feline...I'll curious to know how many did not look at this for longer than the usual 3 seconds and never found this little prize...very nice. |

Almost lost the cat in this...thanks for the title (it definately held my attention long enough to find the connection). Good luck this week. |

Ohhh - had to go looking after reading the title.
Very subtle presence and overall a great use of black & white. |

I only noticed the cat when I came back to comment. This is an interesting photograph and suits your B/W approach. Well done. |

I wish the cat had been on the porch. Quite a few people will miss him. Too bad. Very interesting image - like the 'fog.' |

I love the mood in this. It's so lonely, and makes me wonder if the kitty lives there? Or has a home of his own. Love the contrast. One of my faves of the challenge. |
