 Taken at the Historical Homestead Known as lisnagar.
its a tourist destination in my home town.
i live pretty much right next to it but id never been inside.
so i rang up the guy who owns it and asked if i could do some photography.
(with my new camera ^^)
this is catherine, posing in the huge bamboo thicket.

thanks for that. im gonna try and fix the problem right now.
i didnt notice the white distraction for some reason.
ill see what i can do with the hot spot.

This is great! I'm not sure it wouldn't work better with a fair amount cropped off the left side. I'm far from slavish about the rule of thirds, but in this one you might be better off approximating it. I'm not sure though. In any case, there's a white distraction left edge low, and a really hot spot center left in the dark area behind her. Wow... does bamboo really get that big?!? This almost looks like something out of "Honey, I shrunk the kids".

What a wonderful backdrop you found to take image with.
This is really great, but her skin looks a litle to red, otherwise I really love it.
I love the larger horizontal crop, as it give it a panaroma feel to it.
