 Taken on my return to rural Northwestern Pennsylvania.

Croped
Slight adjustment to brigtness , contrast and color.
Powerlines and telephone boxs cloned out.
Resized to meet dimensions and file size.

Post Challenge:

What I was trying for in processing was a surreal/dream like quality.

I had not seen the church in almost 30 years and as I visited the area everything seemed like it was out of a dream.

I grew up here and in surrounding townships. I spent most of my youth hunting in the fields that are in the background , and fishing in a stream that is off frame to the right.

nice enough, but the processing leaves it feeling somewhat artificial. you might consider trying a bw conversion.

Colors seem a bit oversaturated, but I like the simplicity of the shot.

Something is weird here - are my glasses dirty? the cross on the church seems out of focus but the clouds seem extra sharp. the colors of the church, the whites, don't seem to go with the whites in the clouds. It looks sort of like two photos combined. I love the composition, the cross and the spire lined up like that, the sun hitting one side and the Happy Hollow sign. Is there really a place called Happy Hollow?

not showing much else makes this look like a real estate ad. i like the sky though. this also looks almost like a film shot, which i like btw.

The church feel too centered and a bit too blurry, would benefit from sharpening the image a little.
