I especially love your comment on how you constructed the picture. Shows dedication.
Seriously, though, was this exhibit in Houston? I saw it maybe 15-20 years ago in Columbus, OH.
I have no problem with the center moving off into infinity on the left of hte picture. These are from Communist China afterall. They can't lean left, who can? |

Critique Club comment:
The challenge was to express the seemingly infinite and I think you've done this very well. The voters agreed and gave you a high score. The subject was a great choice, showing infinity through repetition. And your point of view is perfect: low enough to show details on the front soldiers but high enough to emphasize their large number. The softness of the photo is a plus in my opinion. Higher contrast, a lot of sharpening, or starker shadows would have focused more attention on the front soldiers and detracted from the overall effect. Nevertheless, a very small amount of sharpening would enhance the overall texture.
This is a well made image that you can justifiably be proud of. |

This is an awesome shot. I felt it stated infinity better than all of the others combined. You were my bet to win, next to mine ;-) |

Hmmm, I like this one a lot. Though, for my tastes, I think I'd like it more if you'd made the far left wall a little more parallel to the edge of the photo. I guess I'm saying this so you could convey the infiniteness to the sides more so than you have already. I like the depth of this, and the focus fading out as the soldiers get more distant. good job. 8 |

Nice work, it seems to have an infinite soldiers here...
I'm not too sure, It'd be better if you make it symmetry? |

That must be an awesome sight to see. I didn't realize there were that many of them uncovered. Are these reproductions or the real ones? Looks like there are repeats, so they must be reproductions. |

This is just a cool shot !
This is defiantly a 10 from me. I like the straight on shot with the lead lines into the upper third. The shot has a lot of interest. I stare at it trying to figure out if these are toys or statues at life size. Awesome shot.
