 New flash! New gels! First series of photos taken with the new stuff. The object is a shelf liner that looks like an old clear plastic rug runner. On camera red flash bounced to the bottom and blue flash directly from the top.

the colors, shapes, and lines in this photo are awesome. great job taking something ordinary and giving it a very interesting appeal.

I have that plastic shelf liner inside all my kitchen cabinets!
(It works great because the ridges keep any residual water from being trapped under a glass.)

I would have never thought of this composition in a million years.

An eye opener for me. Never thought this computer parallel wire had any virtue. Hey, you pulled off a very nice one here with the comp and lighting.

Great shot, Pat. We must have been battling for position until the final tally!

What I find most interesting, though, is that we both entered wavy, rippling abstract pieces to depict infinity... something very few others attempted. Maybe it has something to do with the chemicals released when using the SD9. Does yours give you a buzz?

Nice focus and colors. Unfortunately, too me it doesn't say infinite. I see this and think, 'Oh great, another computer just burned out. Now I need to check the ribbon cables.'

Good composition, subject is well in focus, but this doesn't really grab my attention. strangely, it feels rather bland to me. maybe some negative space would change my opinion

One of my top picks simply from the standpoint of it being a pleasure to look at. I love the colors. Yyour focus seems to be perfect throughout the shot, something I am very jealous of!
