(don't flame me, first time entering any of these comps so not sure what's to be expected and just bought my first camera :-) still in the learning phase.) In time I hope to be able to submit quality images

lol, I would never have been gotten anywhere near these creatures but it does help when they are behind a fence :-)

In this pic, the croc was about 1.5m-2.0m away from me.
This pic is a resize of the original, no touch up's or changes.

I've just got the basic Panasonic DMC FZ7, haven't purhased any lenses as yet, I still need to learn how to use it.

verry true, it is time to walk away, crocodiles scare me, yet i still like this photo, ur camera must have a good zoom or u must be crazy to go so close to the crocodile, lol
