 This was taken back in May 2006 at a studio lighting workshop. I cropped this from the original photo to try and add something to it! I'm also experimenting with a new B&W conversion method using the Lab Colour mode. Let's see how it goes!

I think this is very well done. I'm not too sure about the expression, but the technicals are spot on.

this is nice enough, but there's something about the pose and the lighting on her hand that throws the image out of balance, at least for me. the lack of expression also leaves me feeling a lack of emotion, as well.

The light and composition is very nice. I like how the black dress matches the background making just the model's hair and skin come out. Her look is nice too. Well done on a beautiful portrait.

Very good. like the 6x6 format. tones and lightning is very good. Maybe a litle blur around the edges to make it a bit softer.
