wow, what a great shot.
It's a brilliant capture that i'm sure you didn't have chance to repeat or try again, split second timing. The focus is brilliant aswell, can't have been easy.
The sunlight is perfect for illuminating the birds feathers.

| Not a bad idea, but I don't feel this is telling the story. I would like to see more of the bird or the child. |

What I like, I like the sharpness of the bird and the color of the sky also the composition is rather good.
I don't like the fact that the hand is out of focus. As that is where my attention goes. |

| A bit overdone with the processing (which I would guess involves some creative use of sharpening layers to push the backlit feathers) which is particularly evidenced by the fringing on the feathers in the top left of the frame and the grainy sky, but I really like the base picture. It's a very thought provoking and interesting composition. - 7 |
