 It was such a beautiful day. All I did was crop it. Have no expectations as to this picture doing well as soooo many people here are so much much much better at this then I am.

Maybe I'll get a nice comment...that would be great :)

aside from being slightly over-saturated, this image is why we have tripods and timers on our cameras--so that we can put subjects in these images to make them more interesting. this is beautiful, yes, but lacking any dynamic to keep one's interest.

I like the square crop for this. It is different and works very well. Nice colors. I like all the diagonal lines, including the implied lines made by the clouds. Cool shot. 7 from me.

This is a shot where you expect to see a young kid playing in the field.

Looks like what Canadians used to call rape seed, which is now canola. A beautiful way to lead your eye to the horizon.

Damn, what a beautiful place. I love the strong color contrasts of the sky and flowers, although that small patch of green grass in the lower right-hand corner is distracting to me.
