| The ear (?) almost disrupts this too much. The other 2/3rds make this image for me with some great lines & patterns. |

Fantastic, brilliantly composed.
To be honest this is such an incredibly tough challenge to vote and comment on but this shot is one of my favourites so far.
I love the tones in the skin.

| Very nice textures and lines (wish the ear had more room at the tip, sorta like chopping off fingers) I like the sweep of the eat and the various sizes of crinkles. It's a rhinoserous? I have one of those pigeon-holing brains that needs to identify things. |

| Something about the very finely textured left side doesn't fit. I know that this is the animals hide but as an image i kinda wish that it was cropped at the texture break. |
