| Really nice effect, but it conveys to me something more like electricity in the water than it does motion; one of the really good images I've seen this challenge that has good elements (good use of color, interesting to look at) but that doesn't really seem (to my eyes) to use the technique called for in the challenge. |

| Seems like a bear_music idea, so for that, congratulations. Good luck this week...you may get some DNMC comments, but to be honest, there are plenty of other shots in this challenge that are much more deserving of that deadly acronym. |

| i have not idea if this meets the challenge or not. the image doesn't really interest me that much. if it's not scoring where you want it to, you might want to check out this thread. |

| While I contiplated doing such a shot, there are many issues. The flash is reflected. The arm of the spat is in the way. The wisps of heat are the only indication of motion and they are too faint. |

This is an excellent take on the challenge - too bad the rest of the voters aren't as enlightened as I am to see how well this meets the challenge! :-)

| What is this? Is there and panning? Update: After taking another look at this, I realize now that it is a play on words. Motion Paning. I guess this is motion in a pan. Ok, not so bad then. |
