| Keep trying, NYU boy. I think this photo would be better if you'd left out all the reflections except for the tree. Get rid of the brick on the bottom too, there's too much going on. Keep your photos true to their meaning. You want to show a reflection, so focus on the reflection. |

| Sorry about yesterday's comment, bad day. I think this image would work in a lighting or shadow challenge but it's not a still life. |

| Ahh....i know the problems of this shot all too well: where do I meter to get the best overall brightness with out blowout and if there will enough of it be in focus....it's really tough to do....Very much like how the tree shadow almost blends into the reflected trees, but the reflected trees are too out of focus and the overall image does not quite work....really needed to use a tripod....nice attempt at the challenge this image affords. |

| Looks very cluttered to me. I think it would be better without the shadow on the window and just the reflections. |

| Does not meet the challenge. A still life is a picture of an object or group of objects arranged to communicate ideas of color, form, tone, texture and composition. Still lifes are inanimate. |

| this is a poorly composited shot. The brick wall is not straight , the angle doesn't work. It doesn't really fit the theme IMO. The trees outside combined with the shadows of the trees inside is just too busy, its almost hard to focus on something here. |
