Nicely composed with good use of background materials - DOF throws them out of focus enough not to distract from main subject but not so much as to lose recognition. A solid traditional subject matter. I like the more casual touch of the two loose flowers and petals. Not sure about black and white though I appreciate that in colour the balance between foreground and background may not have been maintained. |

I'd be hypocritical if i didn't say that i don't like centerpiece pictures. You definitely get my vote because of the black and white film. It captures so much. For instance, the delicate flowers, the fragility of you subject, contrasts beautifully with the grain of the wood and the books in the background. these are three subjects that were meant to be together. |

I love this photo! It is such a clean, clear, and wonderful shot. I really like the black and white you chose for this. Such a nice subject choice, I can't find anything about this photo that I don't like..good job! 10 from me for this...congrats! |

this is very well done, like the overall shot, the books in the BG the texture contrasts, the monotone.....I do not mind the two flowers on the table but the two petals to the right look like you just forget to remove them before shooting....otherwise this is quite fine. |

Interesting bg, however it does compete because of it. Almost steals the show. |

This is Fabulous! I like your choice to make it a dark sepia. The focus is very pleasing, it is very sharp, I like the blury books in the backgroud. The book are an interesting choice for background with the flowers. The lighting is cool too, how the flowers cast there own shadow on themselves. Very good setup and composion, good job 7 :) |
