Mating season! The poor girl just wanted lunch, but he had other things on his mind ;)
We feed half a dozen grey squirrels but rarely do they tolerate having another within several feet except in January and June. While these two sat in one lilac bush another pair occupied the other about 6 feet away.

Noiseware, USM with another round on just the eyes, crop, curves, bits of burning and dodging, slight colour adjustment and saturation... just general simple tinkering until I was relatively satisfied.

Good sharp focus makes this one work especially well.

Very cute. I love the expression in the upper squirrel's face.

I think there is to much action and to much stuff crammed in this picture.

Good capture of these two little guys. They may be slightly oversharpened and some of the backlit areas are blown out.

seems a little over processed. If it was a clear good exposure it'd be nicer

This is the most interesting squirrel shot I've ever seen.

Excellent capture......an outstanding job.....perfect processing and/or whatever you did or didn't do. I wouldn't touch it on any level. ZERO flaws in my book. 9

Cute; like the emphasis on the bushy tail.

Cute shot, a little over-sharpened for my tastes but in this community you're sort of damned if you don't. Nice to see squirrels not begging!

The photo lacks important details and is overwhelmed with the branches (unimportant distractions).
Unfortunately, there are too many branches to make me believe that this image would ever show up in a wildlife magazine (which would warrant a 9 or a 10).

The highlights also seem overblown, either as a result of excessive contrast/brightness adjustment, or as a result of overexposure.

Good luck!
