| Good shot. Good tones (although some hot spots on edges facing window) and good angle (I like how you don't see the sides from a "head on" angle). I like the cropping but I'm not so sure about the border. |

| This is a very interesting shot, when I first glanced at it it appeared to be two challises or ornate glasses. But then I saw the candle, the bible, the stair case and pillar. It's well done shot, good composition, the lighting is well done with the window and the contrast is also good. A slightly tighter crop on the top and bottom would have probably gotten you a 9 from me, as is, an 8 |

| This is a lovely image with a very sacred, timeless feel, one that doesn\'t depend on religion to make itself felt. The black and white is good, nice light and crispness |

| I like this, I just wish it was in color (to show the gold leaf) and the lighting had more contrast--showing the light coming in from the left-hand window illuminating the pulpit would be very striking. |

| I love the lines, patterns and shadows in this shot, and black and white was the perfect treatment for it. Interesting to look at, and certainly meets the challenge well. |

| Excellent. Good and sharp, blends well together, and definitely better in B&W than I imagine the colour looked. |
